It’s springtime in Disneyland and what better way to celebrate than with a new popcorn bucket, flying in from today and available exclusively from the popcorn cart in Mickey’s Toonland.

If this birdy looks familiar to some eagle-eyed riders, that’s because he is. He is Chuuby, the bird from Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway dark ride attraction which opened in DisneyLand on, January 27, 2023 and in Hollywood Studios in Oralndo, Florida on March 4, 2020.
A character created by the Disney Imagineers just for the ride, the unique spelling of his name was reported by the OC Register in 2020 as part of an article about his debut as just being a typo that the Imagineers decided to keep as they found it cuter. Chuuby’s nest is near the train on the Runamuck Railroad and he can be seen at both the beginning and end of the ride.

The carrying ribbon for the bucket is a lovely blue and features Chuuby in flight, fixing to either side of his head. The opening for popcorn appears to be at the back.
