The Mickey Waffles are not even finished for the day and we can tell that it is going to be a busy day in the Disney parks as three out of the five Disney Genie+ options have already sold out.
Disney Genie+ allows guests to buy add-ons to beat the queues in different parks that day. Priced individually guests can purchase the option which gives between two and three lightning entrances for some of the most popular park rides such as Ratatouille and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Guests are able to choose one lightning lane at a time, only choosing their next one after riding.
Priced at its highest ever level, so far this year, today, Genie+ was $39 for both Magic Kingdom and Multi-Park options, …. for Hollywood Studios and 9 for Animal Kingdom and 3 for EPCOT. At time of publishing, only Genie+ at Animal Kingdom and EPCOT remain available for purchase today.
Individual lightning lanes rides in the sold out parks were still available. Rides such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom were available for $12 per person today, up a dollar from the same day in February 2024. In Hollywood Studios, the other sold out Genie+ park today, lightning lanes were available for purchase on Star Wars Rise of the Resistance reaching a maximum of $15 per rider. That’s an increase of $3 on the same date last month.
Prices are definitely hotting-up for Lightning Lanes and Genie+ purchases across all of the parks as the peak weeks around Easter break begin this week.
How are you finding using the lightning lanes and Genie+ in the parks on your visit? Let us know in the comments below.
Happy riding friends.
